

Software development follows conventions. This document is collecting the conventions that are used to develop iTAX software.

There are a few very important things that need to be understood right at the outset of this guideline. The first is, UML in its own right is a method. Any diagram can be used on its own, whether it is contextually correct or not, within the ambit of a systems development project. The problem, as far as any successful means of using UML in a project, is that there needs to be a process defined. It is within this context that this guideline will be based.

The Philippines, like many other developing nations is a country with a relatively low tax ratio. This is primarily due to the inadequate education and qualification of civil servants, poor work morale, low pay as, well as the widely spread corruption on all administrative levels and among politicians.

Acquiring iTax starts with a letter of intent, addressed to the iTax Team Leader, where the head of the province expresses their desire to have iTax installed in their area.
